The new Kit Kat features marbled chocolate coatings

Kit Kat has rolled out Cookie Dough Flavour across its range.

Available across two-finger wafer bars, four-finger wafer bars and sharing tablets, the new flavour combines Kit Kat’s crispy wafer biscuit with “the rich, comforting taste of cookie dough, creating the ultimate sweet treat”.

They feature marbled chocolate coatings, which were first introduced with the launch of Kit Kat’s sharing tablets last January.

The products are available in selected stores now with a nationwide rollout planned for April. Additionally, there was “more Cookie Dough Flavour to come”, said Kit Kat.

“We’re thrilled to bring this exciting new flavour to our fans,” said Kit Kat marketing manager Stephanie Scales.

“Cookie dough is a much-loved taste and combining it with Kit Kat’s signature crunch makes for a loaded experience.”

Kit Kat unveiled limited-edition Chunky Funky in June, featuring a cocoa wafer enrobed in a marbled milk chocolate and white coating.

In the same month, it added a Duo format for Kit Kat Chunky Salted Caramel, which features wafer topped with a salted caramel filling, wrapped in milk chocolate.

Kit Kat owner Nestlé last month unveiled Milkybar Crunchy Pops, plus a range of sweets for Rowntree’s inspired by its popular ice lollies.
