
Lucozade and Ribena owner Suntory has become the latest major company to partner with tech company Polytag to launch invisible QR code technology across its Lucozade packaging.
The drinks company is the latest to deploy the GS1-compliant QR codes, which the company will use to track the recycling of its bottles as well as open up opportunities for direct-to-consumer engagement and market intelligence at scale.
Codes on pack will allow features such as embedded videos and links to social media, alongside fully brandable web pages.
Suntory follows the likes of Marks & Spencer, Ocado and Waitrose in joining forces with Polytag to deploy its invisible QR codes.
