Nestlé and Pladis have unveiled details of their Christmas confectionery ranges ahead of the festive season.
Nestlé is to lean heavily on the tie-up between Kit Kat and Formula 1, launching a new Kit Kat F1 Tin (rsp: £10) and a Kit Kat F1 Selection Box (rsp: £4.50), alongside Kit Kat Santa Orange (rsp: 80p), Kit Kat Giant Chunky Gift Box (rsp: £7) and Kit Kat Two Finger Collection (rsp: £7).
Billed as its “biggest festive range yet”, the lineup would give shoppers “plenty of opportunities to enjoy a break throughout the festive season”, said Nestlé.
Also new from Nestlé are Milkybar Caramel Crunch (rsp: £2), combining “the creamy taste of Milkybar with crispy caramel biscuit pieces”, and After Eight Orange (rsp: £5), offering “a citrus twist on the rich dark chocolate After Eight is known for”, Rowntree’s Randoms Sleigh Tastic Bag (rsp: £1.50) and Smarties Reindeer Drops (rsp: £2.50).
Rounding out the range are Advent calendars from Smarties and After Eight (rsps: £10).
Meanwhile, Pladis has introduced McVitie’s Jaffa Elf Milk Chocolate Treat (rsp: £1), McVitie’s Penguin Milk Chocolate Treat (rsp: £1) and McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes Spiced Orange (rsp: £1.50).

Jaffa Elf offers “a tangy orangey centre, biscuit pieces and a mischievous elf shape”, while Penguin Milk Chocolate Treat combines “rich milk chocolate, chocolatey cream filling and crunchy Penguin biscuit pieces”. Jaffa Cakes Spiced Orange reimagines the brand’s classic orange flavour with “warming festive spices”.
“Jaffa Elf and Penguin Milk Chocolate Treats offer shoppers a playful alternative to the category’s traditional Santas and reindeer, bringing fresh personalities to the seasonal confectionery aisle,” said Emma Johnson, seasonal brand manager for Pladis UK & Ireland.
Also returning from Pladis this year are Jaffa Tree (rsp: £3), Jaffa Pole (rsp: £4), McVitie’s Gingerbread Milk Chocolate Digestives (rsp: £2.25), McVitie’s Family Circle (rsp: £3), McVitie’s Victoria Classic Biscuits (rsp: from £4), and McVitie’s Victoria Chocolate Creations Biscuits Selection (rsp: £6).
It comes after The Grocer revealed shoppers would be paying more for festive confectionery favourites this year, with tubs of Roses, Heroes and Celebrations shrinking by up to 14% compared with last year.
