Oxo has unveiled a swathe of NPD, including bone broths, ready-to-use stocks and stock powders.
Launching with Beef and Chicken, the bone broths (rsp: £3.75/500ml) are made using British meat and bones, and are preservative-free.
The former provides 18g protein and 12g collagen per pack, while the latter provides 15g protein and 5g collagen.
Offering “a simple way to bring depth and goodness to different dishes”, they would appeal to customers on the lookout for more nourishing benefits from their meal choices, said Oxo.
Oxo’s Signature ready-to-use stocks (rsp: £2.50/500ml) will debut in Succulent Chicken, Rich Beef and Vegetable.
They had been slowly simmered for up to 15 hours, extracting deep, rich flavours that can simply be poured into a dish to enhance everyday meals, according to Oxo.
Finally, the stock powders (rsp: £2.85/100g) will launch in Chicken & Herb, Garden Vegetable, and Mediterranean Vegetable.
They are packaged in a fully recyclable drum, made from 55% recycled content, claimed by Oxo to be a “first” for the category.
All products will launch into Morrisons and Sainsbury’s on 13 October. The stock powders will also hit Asda, while the ready-to-use stocks will also be listed in Asda, Tesco and Waitrose.
“At Oxo, our vision is to keep evolving our range to meet the needs of modern consumers,” said Mark Alldred, senior global marketing director of flavours & seasonings at Oxo owner Premier Foods.
“Our three new launches use quality ingredients to add delicious flavours that elevate a wide array of meals and provide nutritional benefits,” Alldred added.
The launches will be backed by a marketing push, spanning out-of-home, social media, YouTube and in-store activity, for the remainder of 2025 and into 2026.
