Scottish Spar wholesaler CJ Lang has added four new stores to its partnership with Snappy Shopper.

The stores in Abronhill, Halbeath, Stonehouse and Glamis Centre went live last month and is now offering home deliveries to customers within a three-mile radius.

The service will be available to shoppers seven days a week, from 10am to 8pm.

CJ Lang originally partnered with the shopping app in April last year, which saw 19 company-owned stores get on board the platform.

The latest stores to team up extends its network to 23 overall.

“A number of our stores have been successfully operating with Snappy Shopper and since we first partnered with them the service has being going from strength to strength,” said CJ Lang CEO Colin McLean.

“We are building the business and engaging more with existing and new customers by improving brand awareness, launching new model stores and developing our home delivery service with Snappy Shopper will make our stores even more convenient. We look forward to seeing the great results.”

Snappy Shopper CEO Mark Steven said: “Our swift and pain-free onboarding process and local marketing support gives Spar stores in Scotland the reassurance that we are on the journey with them and we are committed to their success.

“We offer retailers working with us an additional revenue opportunity to their convenience store offer, low commission rates and great brand awareness.”

Snappy Shopper serves 730 stores across the UK.
