A new premium hummus range is rolling out to Waitrose next month.

Three flavours of the Moorish wood-smoked brand (rsp: £2.89/160g) - Original, Chilli Harissa and Lemon & Dill - are now available in Planet Organic and indies. Waitrose will stock Original and Chilli Harissa in 50 stores from 19 November.

The range is smoked with Welsh wood in Anglesey, offering “a luxuriously thick texture”.

Recent activity in dips has included Morrisons and Glorious! relaunching their ranges and the arrival of new premium brand G’Nosh, since expanded with dips and bread sticks. This week Jamie Oliver launched a lunchtime range in Boots that included dips.
