A busy year of NPD and bumper marketing investment of £6m wasn’t enough to prevent sales of Mondelez’s ‘super’ confectionery brand falling for the second year running. Innovation included Maynards Bassetts’ first sour candy, Wine Gums Tangy and Jelly Babies Tropical.
