Nomadic Dairy has launched two protein puddings in its first step outside its core yoghurt business.
The Irish supplier’s new Pudding duo – available in Vanilla and Chocolate – launched this week in Spar stores nationwide. They will be available in Morrisons from early January.
Rach 200g pot (rsp: £1.89) offers 20g of protein, is low in fat and contains no added sugar.
“We’re keenly aware of the shift in protein products’ appeal, which has significantly expanded consumer demand,” said Nomadic Dairy brand manager Bethan Miles.
“Whether people are gym goers or just plain busy, these protein-packed puddings represent functional, but easy and great-tasting, additions to on-the-go diets.”
The brand is hoping to reach the active health market, which has seen strong growth in volumes in the yoghurts & pot desserts category – up by 4.4% [Kantar 52 w/c 12 June 2022].
Nomadic said its “focus on taste” was designed to generate cut-through in the market.
