Bacon supplier Denhay has expanded its no artificial nitrite-based Bacon by Nature brand with new Smoked Back and Streaky variants.
The range went on sale this week in Whole Foods Market and online at Ocado, Waitrose, Amazon and Morrisons.
“Bacon by Nature is going from strength to strength and we’re extremely excited to introduce Smoked Back & Streaky to the range,” said MD Jim Loescher.
Its artificial nitrite-free range, which first launched in 2020, is cured using natural ingredients, including extracts and juices from carrots, chard, onions and acerola cherries.
“Bacon by Nature’s unique qualities – offering bacon with no artificial nitrites without any loss of Denhay’s great taste and flavour is a real point of difference, endorsed by the brand’s growing distribution – which now includes Whole Foods Market,” added Loescher.
