The NPD will roll into Moju’s webstore on 24 August (rsp: £4.95)

Functional juice shot brand Moju has teamed up with fermented foods brand Eaten Alive to launch a limited-edition hot sauce.

The NPD contains “fresh, raw, natural, and cold-pressed” ingredients.

It combined the kick of Moju’s Really Ginger hot shot with Eaten Alive’s fermented chilli mash for “flavour with a punch”, said the brand.

Billed as being “perfect for dipping, drizzling or adding to a sizzling stir-fry”, the sauce will roll into Moju’s webstore on 24 August (rsp: £4.95).

“We’re so excited to launch this limited-edition hot sauce in collaboration with our flavour-loving friends at Eaten Alive,” said Moju co-founder Rich Goldsmith.

It was “about time to shake things up a bit by taking our famous heat and offering a sauce that hits your palate unlike anything else on your menu”, he said.

The NPD was “perfect for any plate, bowl or dip this summer”, Goldsmith added.

It comes after Moju – which was named soft drinks brand of the year at the Grocer Gold Awards 2021 – landed national listings in Asda and the Co-op late last year.

The healthy drinks brand secured £2.5m in funding in a round led by the investment arm of French dairy giant Danone in March 2021.
