Deliveroo is piloting an “office catering service” in London, allowing employers to schedule large group orders for their staff between 24 hours and five days in advance.
The aggregator app has partnered with Addison Lee on the pilot, with the latter’s couriers doing the deliveries.
The service is launching with a select range of restaurants, including The Salad Project, Atis, Pizza Pilgrims, Eat Activ, Bleecker Burger, B Bagel and SushiDog, with more brands expected to be announced in the coming months.
Deliveroo said the restaurant brands had been working with the aggregator app’s corporate service Deliveroo for Work to create “tailored, group-friendly menus designed specifically for workplace occasions” such as team lunches, workshops, office events and celebrations.
The ability to schedule orders in advance aided restaurant partners, Deliveroo said, since kitchens benefited from having more time to plan ahead.
“The office lunch is officially back, and Deliveroo for Work is continually finding new ways to elevate it,” said Spencer Walker, global director of Deliveroo for Work.
“Our new catering service aims to take the stress out of group orders – it’s easy to set up and simple to manage, working just like a regular Deliveroo order, despite the scale.”

Deliveroo added that it was exploring additional partnerships with other courier services as the catering service grew.
Deliveroo for Work allows employers to customise and manage team meal allowances via a dedicated platform, and bundles orders from across their teams into a single monthly invoice. Employees order work meals via the Deliveroo app in the normal way, but select ‘company allowance’ and enter a code, so payment is covered by their employer.
It is used by some 30,000 employees at some of the UK’s biggest businesses, Deliveroo says, and is “the ultimate work perk”. According to Deliveroo’s own research, employees value food as a workplace perk twice as highly as gym subsidies, and the offer of food delivery at work is three times more popular than the office canteen.
Deliveroo said it had seen a significant increase in corporate worker orders in recent years, with orders growing by more than 60% between 2022 and 2025. Group orders grew by approximately 10% year on year in the UK from 2024 to 2025.
The service “meets the growing demand for premium workplace perks, helping employers foster internal engagement and attract and retain talent” the aggregator app said.
“Deliveroo for Work already supports thousands of corporate clients across London. Now, we’re helping the restaurants they know and love meet growing demand for workplace catering – one of the most valued employee perks,” Walker added. “It’s a simple and effective way to bring teams together.”
