Heineken is to reorganise its global head office in a move that will impact around 400 of its employees.
The next phase of Heineken’s EverGreen 2030 strategy would “create a more agile, simplified, and connected organisation, ready to focus on opportunities for growth and innovation”, the Dutch brewer said.
As part of the changes, Heineken said its head office in Amsterdam would “transform into a more focused strategic centre” with some roles transitioning into an expanded Heineken Business Services (HBS) division.
Integrating new digital platforms into HBS would help “simplify processes, unlock the power of data, and enable faster innovation,” Heineken said.
There would also be a “redesign” of selected departments, it added.
The 400 roles affected are on top of the 200 roles already impacted by a transformation of Heineken’s digital and technology department, which kicked off last October.
Changes would consist of “a combination of relocation to HBS and roles ceasing to exist,” Heineken said.
“By reducing complexity and speeding up decision making, Heineken will operate with greater impact, empower its teams, and position itself to capture growth opportunities more decisively,” the supplier added.
Further details are set to be revealed at its Capital Markets event in Seville on 23 October.
