The Vegan Food Group has had a major senior leadership shake-up, The Grocer can reveal.
Group CEO Dave Sparrow has stood down after five years at the helm of the organisation.
He has left the business following “mutual agreement”, said chairman Matthew Glover in a statement.
“Following nearly five years of dedicated leadership, Dave will support the company in an advisory role to ensure a smooth transition,” he said. “We are extremely grateful for Dave’s contributions, from navigating the company’s expansion to steering product innovation across our brands.”
Last month CFO Phil Eden left his position after less than a year in post.
Eden joined the business at the start of the year with plans to help with the ongoing integration across VFG’s UK and German businesses, while supporting the corporate agenda alongside CEO Dave Sparrow and the wider board.
“Additionally, the company confirms that Phil Eden has departed for new professional opportunities,” added Glover. “His tenure as CFO contributed greatly to our financial operations, and we wish him continued success.”
Managing director Richard Coggon will continue leading the company’s operations.
VFG did not comment on whether the CEO and CFO roles would be replaced.
