Oral care brand TePe has launched EasyFit interdental brushes, billed as “an entry-level solution designed to help patients start, and stick with, daily interdental cleaning”.
EasyFit brushes (rsps: £3.85/six & £11.75/20) removed “the barrier of size confusion from interdental cleaning”, claimed TePe. By offering two sizes, S/M and M/L, the innovation allowed users “to adopt interdental cleaning without the need for professional sizing, supporting long-term habit formation”.
Each conical brush head is designed to adapt to a range of interdental spaces, gliding smoothly between teeth to remove plaque efficiently while remaining gentle and comfortable. The ergonomic, easy-grip handle aims to support controlled, precise cleaning and instil confidence in the user.
While toothbrushing alone cleaned 60% of tooth surfaces, “adding one minute of interdental cleaning helps patients achieve a more complete, whole-mouth clean”, TePe said.
EasyFit interdental brushes are available now from Amazon, TePeDirect.com and dental wholesalers.
“For many patients, getting started with interdental brushing can feel daunting – particularly when they’re unsure which size to use or worry about getting it wrong,” said Miranda Pascucci, TePe head of clinical education.
EasyFit interdental brushes helped “to remove that uncertainty, offering a simple way to start interdental cleaning”, she added. “Once the habit is established, patients are far more likely to maintain it long term.”
TePe’s launch is the latest of several already this year in oral hygiene. Yesterday (18 February), Sensodyne expanded its portfolio of enamel-safe whitening oral care with its Advanced White toothpaste lineup in Enamel Defence and White Deep Clean.
Last month saw the debut of watermelon-flavoured Waken Kids Toothpaste for children aged three to 12, followed by the unveiling of SoPure Dentivia, a stevia-based sweetener for oral care products, by ingredients supplier Howtian.
