Wagamama will initially be available via Uber Eats in Newcastle, with the delivery service expanding across the country over the next few weeks

Wagamama has partnered with Uber Eats, marking the pan-Asian restaurant chain’s first new delivery tie-up in 10 years.

Wagamama will initially be available via Uber Eats in Newcastle, with the delivery service expanding to more restaurants across the country over the next few weeks.

The tie-up comes after searches for Wagamama on the rapid delivery firm’s app more than doubled in 2025. It also marks a new chapter in Wagamama’s growth strategy, as the brand looks to bolster its delivery capabilities and reach new customers.

“We’re delighted to partner with Uber Eats to significantly expand the national reach of our delivery proposition, bringing Wagamama to more homes and offering customers greater choice across the UK than ever before,” said Wagamama CEO Mark Chambers.

“As our first new aggregator partnership in a decade, this is a considered step that reinforces delivery as a key long-term growth lever for our business. Uber Eats’ scale and highly engaged Uber One customer base, combined with its rides platform, allow us to connect with millions more diners nationwide.”

The partnership will also see Wagamama and Uber Eats “co-create” across their loyalty programmes, Soul Club and Uber One, in a move that will unlock “meaningful benefits for both communities”, Chambers added.

Uber Eats UK general manager Merve Basci said: “We’re hearing loud and clear that diners on Uber Eats are excited about ordering Wagamama at home. Welcoming them to the app is a major milestone.

“This partnership is about far more than just logistics; it’s about empowering an iconic brand to leverage our cutting-edge tech and reach new heights of growth. Leading restaurant brands are increasingly turning to Uber Eats to accelerate their delivery business and connect with millions of engaged eaters across the nation.”
