'Responsible' low-abv wine for Landmark

Landmark Wholesale has launched a low-alcohol British wine in response to growing customer demand for lighter wines.

Ocean Star is available in three varieties and has an abv of 7.5%. The rsp of £2.75 per bottle, or two for £5 except in Scotland, represented “great value and excellent margins”, Landmark said.

“As well as the promotion of healthier lifestyles, we are continuing to see more responsible drinking messages being proposed or planned,” added trading controller John Fergusson-Cooper.
