
Lumina Intelligence is bringing back its Category Management & Insight Awards for 2026 after a successful first year, with an expanded programme celebrating excellence across the entire food and drink sector.
As the only UK awards programme dedicated exclusively to Category Management and Insight, the event was created to shine a light on the unsung heroes whose expertise shapes category growth, commercial strategy and decision making across retail, fmcg and hospitality.
Building on strong momentum from last year’s launch, the 2026 edition is introducing new categories, allowing for entries from across the full value chain, from grocery multiples to out-of-home and nutrition. The programme reflects the growing importance of insight-led thinking in an increasingly complex landscape.
New categories for this year include dedicated Retail and Out of Home awards for Data & Insight and Customer Collaboration, as well as the introduction of the Positive Consumer Impact Award.
Open to all UK-focused food and drink businesses, the awards will recognise the behind-the-scenes specialists who translate data and insight into action, driving measurable outcomes for both businesses and consumers.
Finalists will be announced in September, with winners revealed at a live London ceremony on 12 November 2026. Entries are open now and close on 31 July 2026.
