Morrisons is to expand its network of Amazon parcel return lockers, by rolling the service out to 350 stores.
The fully automated lockers, which had been trialled in a small number of Morrisons stores including Rothwell in Leeds, enable shoppers to drop off any Amazon parcels they wish to return.
Located near the customer service desk or existing Amazon lockers, customers scan a QR code then deposit their parcel in the locker, without the need to print a label or use a box.
Morrisons aims to complete the rollout by early 2026, with “further rollouts” planned over the coming months.
It forms part of Morrisons’ ongoing strategy to grow income from its existing store space by offering new in-store services.
Morrisons has recently expanded its partnership with key cutters Timpson, as well as launched new concessions with Holland & Barrett and Wash.Me laundromats. Spotlesswater concessions have also been added to its store car parks.
In November, it secured a “milestone” partnership with vape retailer E-Cig store to open concessions in all 400 of its stores.

Morrisons also offers in-store photo printing and parcel collection as part of its services offer.
“With parcel deliveries now a part of everyday life for most people in the UK, the introduction of Amazon return kiosks in our stores make it simple for customers to return parcels during their weekly shop, making it easier than ever before,” said John Parry, head of services at Morrisons.
“This convenient new service adds to our existing range of in-store offerings to help our customers and give them more reasons to shop at Morrisons.”
Once installed, the parcel lockers will appear as a drop-off option in customers’ Amazon accounts.
