Caffè Nero has launched the first phase of its “health-focused” snacking range review and has partnered with Baileys for a limited-edition drink.
As part of its refreshed on-the-go snacks offering, the café chain has partnered with brands including The Protein Ball Co, Deliciously Ella and Proper Snacks.
Deliciously Ella’s oat bars, in Cacao & Almond and Apple & Raisin, and The Protein Ball Co’s protein balls in Lemon & Pistachio and Blueberry Oat Muffin, will now be available across 600 stores in the UK.
Speaking of the range review on LinkedIn, Caffè Nero product development and category manager Emilie Hart said: “Seven months, countless supplier meetings, and plenty of delicious snacking later, it’s a rewarding moment to see the first new products landing in our stores.
“A key objective of the range review was to enhance our health-focused offerings – and these new lines deliver exactly that, bringing exciting and better-for-you choices to our customers.”
Deliciously Ella MD Georgina Patterson added: ”Seeing Caffè Nero embrace natural, better-for-you snacking and backing us to be part of their new range is a very proud moment for the team.”
It comes as Caffè Nero has also partnered with Irish cream liqueur Baileys to launch an exclusive iced latte.
The drink combines Caffè Nero’s premium espresso with a new non-alcoholic Baileys syrup, which can be added to any drink across the wider café menu. The new offering will join the coffee giant’s summer menu lineup, alongside its Matcha drink, Pistachio Iced Latte and Amaretto Latte.
Caffè Nero UK MD Glyn House said: “It’s a further demonstration of our commitment to innovation and developing drinks our customers will love. It’s about creating special moments centred around coffee.”
Caffè Nero also hinted that through its wider partnership with Baileys, further drinks collaborations could be launched later in the year.
