Oral care challenger Ordo has teamed up with Universal Products & Experiences to expand its licensed portfolio of products – starting with a Minions toothbrush for children.
Minions x Ordo Sonic Kids Battery Toothbrush is billed as “a fun, high-performance toothbrush designed to help kids aged four-plus build healthy brushing habits from an early age”.
The battery-powered brush combines dentist-approved sonic technology with a colourful, character-led design. It delivers 18,000 pulses per minute, promising to remove more plaque than a manual toothbrush. The soft bristles ensure a gentle clean for developing teeth and gums, while the compact handle is designed for small hands.
Minions x Ordo Sonic Kids Battery Toothbrush (rsp: £12.50) is available in two colourways: yellow and blue. It comes with two brush heads. Each provides three months of brushing and is suitable for braces and other dental work. The device also provides 60 days of use from a single AA battery.
It will be available from Ordo’s website and Amazon from 10 June, rolling out to selected retailers including Argos from 1 July.
“Building good brushing habits early is key, but it needs to be fun as well as effective,” said Barty Walsh, Ordo founder & CEO. “By combining our dentist-approved sonic technology with the universal appeal of Minions, we’re helping kids enjoy brushing while giving parents confidence that their children’s teeth are getting an expert clean.”
In February, the fast-growing Ordo expanded its collaboration with soft toys brand Squishmallows, adding Ordo x Squishmallows ’Mallows Squad Sonic Edge electric toothbrush. The rechargeable device (rsp: £24.99) was “designed to make brushing fun, personalised and effective for older kids and tweens”, said Ordo.
It followed the oral care brand’s September 2025 launch of Wicked x Ordo toothbrushes in partnership with NBC Universal. Inspired by the hit musical, the four-strong range was “designed to bring some magic to the bathroom basin for teens, adults and kids aged eight and up”.
