M&S is banking on the Dubai chocolate trend with pistachio flavours running through much of its new Easter egg lineup, as the retailer looks to build on last year’s viral success.
Returning hits such as the Custard Cream Biscuity Egg and pistachio rolled eggs are back on shelves, while new additions include pistachio-loaded half eggs and gooey pistachio-filled mini eggs – meaning Easter egg sales are already up 35% on last year, according to the retailer
Another trend M&S aims to capitalise on is crunch, with a new milk chocolate egg with pieces of salted caramel almond nougat and crispy flakes of corn, as well as a speckled mini eggs-style crunchy chocolate bar.
The range is available now in stores and online via Ocado.
