Bio&Me has relaunched its ‘Good For Your Gut’ Flapjack Oat Bars with a fresh new look, reformulated recipes, and an on-pack promo to drive trial.
Individual bars (rsp: £1.20/38g) and multipacks (rsp: £2.95/3x38g) are on shelf now.
Available in Toffee Apple, Berry Boost, and Cocoa Hazelnut, the bars boasted “tastier soft-baked recipes”, while still being free from added sugar artificial sweeteners, palm oil or preservatives, said Bio&Me.
Updated packaging, meanwhile, delivered “greater standout on shelf”.
To support the relaunch and encourage new and returning customers to try the updated recipes, Bio&Me has launched an on-pack promotion. The ‘Love Us Or We’re Free’ promotion is running across the three multipacks in Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose stores for the next three months.
It invites shoppers to try the bars risk-free. Unsatisfied customers can scan a QR code inside the pack’s fold-out sticker, uploading proof of purchase and a 30-word critique to receive a refund.
“We developed the new look and recipes with customer feedback front and centre, with the clear intention of making these bars the absolute best they can be in terms of taste, nutrition and shelf appeal,” said Bio&Me co-founder and CEO Jon Walsh. “We believe the promotion will help lower the barrier to trial and accelerate rate of sale, reflecting our commitment to delivering gut health products that truly deliver.”
Bio&Me initially expanded into flapjacks last April.
Earlier this year, the gut-health brand rolled out a duo of protein-boosted porridge pots, packaged in paper, into Sainsbury’s stores.
