Los Angeles-born yoghurt café and bar Go Greek Yogurt is set to make its UK debut in London this July.

The 620 sq ft site on South Molton Street will be designed in the brand’s Mediterranean-inspired aesthetic, featuring a made-to-order yoghurt bar, self-service frozen yoghurt machines, and indoor and outdoor seating.

The menu is centred around imported Greek yoghurt, handcrafted using traditional Greek recipes. Its offerings include Classic and Frozen yoghurt bowls with house flavours such as Plain Tart, Greek Honey and Chocolate, alongside vegan options. All bowls are customisable with toppings such as fresh fruit, nuts and seeds.

Savoury yoghurt bowls are topped with ingredients such as avocado, Persian cucumbers, Serrano chilli peppers, grape tomatoes, and Kalamata olives. Go Greek Yogurt also serves a selection of yoghurt-based smoothies.

The London opening marks the next phase of the brand’s global expansion. The brand currently operates more than 20 locations across the US and the Middle East, with plans to expand to 50 locations globally by 2027.

Go Greek Yogurt was founded in 2012 by husband-and-wife duo Tanja Murgel-Subotic and David Subotic, and business partner Jonathan Williams. The concept was inspired by Murgel-Subotic’s time living in Greece as she looked to bring the country’s culture of natural ingredients and mindful eating back to the US.

Since launch, the brand has cultivated a high-profile celebrity following with fans including Blake Lively, Gigi Hadid, Jennifer Aniston and the Kardashians.

“We are thrilled, excited, and deeply honoured to be entering the European market with the launch of our first store in London,” said Murgel-Subotic. “This moment has been a long-held ambition for Go Greek Yogurt, made all the more meaningful by how close it brings us to the origins of our craft in Greece.

“All three of us, the founders, share European roots, and it is a profound pleasure to land in this territory alongside partners we hold in the highest regard, whose intimate knowledge of this market and distinguished standing within their industry have made this collaboration a true pleasure. We are excited to watch Go Greek take root within the European community, starting in London, and we look forward to growth across a continent where yoghurt is already woven so beautifully into daily life and culture.”
