Oreo has unveiled a Creme Egg flavour cookie for Easter 2026.
The limited-edition NPD (rsp: £1.50/157g) promises the “crunch and rich cocoa taste of Oreo” and “the indulgence of Creme Egg” via an additional layer of yolk-coloured filling.
It will hit grocery and convenience channels after Christmas, live until Easter.
“The introduction of Oreo Creme Egg is the perfect pairing of two iconic brands to create a new snacking occasion at Easter,” said Oreo brand manager Nikita Yadav.
“This limited-edition biscuit is set to drive excitement in the biscuit category, adding basket spend as family and friends come together to celebrate Easter,” Yadav added.
The launch will be supported with in-store activations and a “playful” campaign, referring to the NPD as a “nepo cookie”. The activity will span outdoor, radio and organic social media.
This isn’t the first time two Mondelez International-owned brands have launched a co-branded product.
Last month, Grenade unveiled a Creme Egg Protein bar, developed in partnership with Cadbury.
Billed as Grenade’s “softest” and “most indulgent” protein bar yet, the NPD (rsp: £2.50/45g) contains a “light, fluffy” protein dough and a yolk-coloured, Creme Egg-flavoured filling, enrobed in milk chocolate.
Grenade previously launched a co-branded protein bar with Oreo in 2023, featuring a vanilla-flavoured creme layer and a nougat centre, topped with sugar-free cookie pieces and wrapped in Grenade’s low-sugar chocolate.
