The range introduces a yoghurt-style drink designed to deliver the benefits of fermented dairy in a more ‘flexible, convenient format’

Shelf-stable yoghurt drinks brand Yogoody has launched into the UK market with a nationwide listing at Holland & Barrett.

The range introduces a yoghurt-style drink designed to deliver the benefits of fermented dairy in a more “flexible, convenient format”.

It comes in four flavours: Strawberry, Vanilla, Mango and Wild Berries.

Yogoody is supplied as a powder format to be mixed with water and therefore does not have to be refrigerated.

It has a shelf life of up to one year, which the brand said provided operational advantages for retailers, including lower transportation and energy requirements, reduced reliance on chilled storage, and less product waste.

It also provides everyday convenience for consumers, it added.

“Our partnership with Holland & Barrett is an important milestone for the business,” said Nuno Abreu, MD of Yogoody. “It brings our shelf-stable yoghurt-style format into one of Europe’s most established health and wellness retail environments, and reflects the growing focus on gut health and functional nutrition.”

The products are made with real fruit using a freeze-drying process. They contain seven types of probiotics alongside prebiotic fibre.

The range is rich in protein, high in fibre and low in fat.

“At Holland & Barrett, we are constantly looking for brands and innovations that deliver added value and relevant innovation, offering solutions aligned with consumer expectations,” said Leila Whitman, H&B category manager – superfoods. “Yogoody presents a distinctive concept that combines convenience, taste and nutritional quality, and fits well with our mission to provide practical and healthy alternatives.”

Yogoody will be available in multi-serve packs (rsp: £14.95) and larger-format 450g packs (rsp: £25.99).
