Chocolate Caramel Ball has rolled into major retailers (rsp: £2.50)

Terry’s is continuing its push “beyond orange” with the launch of a limited-edition Chocolate Caramel Ball.

The “indulgent” treat combines Terry’s signature milk chocolate with a “caramel twist”, in the brand’s familiar 20-segment ball format (rsp: £2.50).

Over the past two years, caramel has been the most prevalent flavour in confectionery NPD, said Terry’s, citing Mintel data [February 2023-February 2025].

“Caramel continues to dominate flavour trends, and we see strong headroom for growth in everyday indulgence and seasonal gifting,” said Terry’s senior marketing manager Lorène Decam.

“This launch is more than just a flavour extension – it’s a strategic move to broaden our relevance beyond orange, while building on the rituals and emotional connection that make Terry’s a festive essential,” Decam added.

The launch will be supported by a multi-channel marketing campaign, spanning VOD, OOH, radio, social media and PR activity.

This is the third consecutive year Terry’s has innovated “beyond orange” ahead of Christmas. It launched Chocolate Mint Ball in 2023 and Chocolate Milk Ball in 2024.

In March this year, Terry’s unveiled a trio of Easter products to demonstrate it is “more than just a Christmas favourite”.

The lineup included Chocolate Orange Cream Filled Egg (rsp: 70p/34g), Chocolate Orange Easter Egg with Exploding Candy Minis (rsp: £1.35/91g) and XL Chocolate Mint Easter Egg (rsp: £6/295g).
