What was your first job? Stacking shelves after school at my local SuperValu in Ireland when I was 14.
What’s been your worst job interview? Thankfully I haven’t had many – though I had to be vetted for mango sap allergy before being employed at a mango farm in Australia.
What was the first music single you bought? I was a child of the 1980s so cassettes were my thing. Madonna’s True Blue was the first album I bought.
How do you describe your job to your mates? Working at a ground-breaking employee-owned company that produces the original silicone menstrual cup.
What is the most rewarding part of your job? Being involved with a pioneering brand producing something that genuinely improves people’s lives and working alongside a great team.
What is the least rewarding part? Never managing to get everything done.
What is your motto? Live lightly, enjoy deeply.
If you were allowed one dream perk, what would it be? Lifelong membership at an eco spa please.
If you could change one thing in grocery, what would it be? More UK manufactured, authentically sustainable period products in the sanitary product aisle.
What luxury would you have on a desert island? My Mooncup of course – never go anywhere without it!
What animal reflects your personality? A swift – I find it hard to sit still sometimes and in another incarnation I might be following the sun south for winter too.
What’s your favourite film and why? How to choose just one!? More recently, Captain Fantastic. I love the depiction of off-grid living and exploration of all things alternative.
What has been the most embarrassing moment in your life? I offered my flat to friends for a romantic weekend in Brighton. They got locked out and couldn’t reach me as I’d forgotten to charge my phone – they had to stay in a hotel. Oops.
Which celebrity would you most like to work with and why? Vivienne Westwood, she’s an icon.
What would your death row meal be? Probably my go-to comfort food – roasted vegetables with tahini sauce and a glass of the finest red.
