Jonny Wilkinson’s soft drinks brand One Living has voluntarily recalled 330ml bottles of its Organic Raspberry & Pomegranate Kombucha, following reports of bottle caps popping off due to over-fermentation.
The recall is limited to bottles of One Living Organic Raspberry & Pomegranate with a best before date of 14 December 2026, and no other SKUs or batches are thought to be affected.
The product is stocked in Sainsbury’s stores, according to Assosia data.
The bottles had been recalled as there was “a risk that the bottle caps may pop off unexpectedly as a result of over-fermentation, which may cause injury”, the Food Standards Agency said in a statement.
Shoppers should not attempt to open or return the product, but instead “avoid any unnecessary handling of the product and safely dispose of it in an external waste bin,” the FSA said.
They could contact One Living at hello@oneliving.com with proof of purchase for a full refund, it added.
“The safety and quality of our products is our highest priority,” a spokesperson for One Living said. “We have worked closely with the Food Standards Agency and our retail partners to remove the affected product from shelves immediately.”
“Consumers who have purchased these specific bottles are advised not to handle bottles and dispose of in an external bin. We have provided details on how to contact our customer services team for refund in the recall notice.”
