The mycoprotein-based range comes in two formats: grab and go packs (rsp: £1.40/70g) and food to go packs (rsp: £1.30/from 45g)

Quorn has launched its first single-serve snack range with its Protein Bites.

The mycoprotein-based range comes in two formats: grab and go packs (rsp: £1.40/70g) and food to go packs (rsp: £1.30/from 45g).

The launch is designed to build on momentum in meat-free snacking, which is the biggest recruitment sector into the category.

The snackable grab and go packs are portioned for an “on the go protein hit” and come in two variants, Sweet Chilli and Roasted. The larger formats feature clear high-protein and low in saturated fat callouts on front of pack.

They would launch into Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s soon, the brand said.

The food to go packs are designed for lunchboxes and contain around 100 calories, which is “clearly signposted front of pack to help shoppers navigate purchase with ease”.

The range also comes in two variants, Sweet Chilli, launching into Morrisons, and Cocktail Sausages, launching into Tesco.

“We know that shoppers will be so excited to see Quorn entering the food to go fixture for the first time,” said Lucy Grogut, marketing director at Quorn Foods. “We’re meeting growing demand for convenient, high-protein options that deliver on taste across even more occasions and formats.”

The brand said that the range performed well in testing and would be well positioned to “drive momentum”.

The new range will be backed by significant marketing investment launching May 2026, spanning TV, online video, social, influencer partnerships and in-store activation.

“Quorn Protein Bites remove compromise, by delivering great taste alongside strong nutrition credentials, in affordable formats that work for busy, everyday lives,” added Grogut.

“These are non-negotiables for many shoppers.”
