Greek mezze brand Trophi has unveiled 20 ambient SKUs, to complement the frozen range it debuted with in April 2024.
The innovations span olives & vegetables, spreads & sauces, snacks & salsas, meal kits & traditional breads, and sweet treats.
Lines include Olives Stuffed with Garlic (rsp: £3/380g), Lentils with Roasted Vegetables & Pomegranate Dressing (rsp: £2.75/200g), Tahini (rsp: £3.50/300g), Greek Style Salsa with Red Pepper (rsp: £2.70/200g), Souvlaki Pitta Pocket Meal Kit (rsp: £3.95/460g) and Halva with Vanilla (rsp: £3/200g).
“The easy-to-prepare range is designed to help families create the perfect Greek night in with traditional dishes ideal for sharing, from gyros meal kits and classic sauces to houmous chips, olives and indulgent desserts,” said Trophi owner Surya Foods.
The new range is available in Tesco. Its launch will be supported by a campaign including PR, shopper promotions and events, sampling, and activity across Trophi’s digital and social media platforms.
Trophi’s frozen offer features indulgent pastry snacks, gyros meal kits, keftedes and kebabs.
Surya Foods has sourced the majority of the latest lineup “directly from Greece, working with some traditional suppliers who still make products by hand,” said CEO Harry Dulai. “Our delicious Greek halva is still mixed by hand in big steel copper pots in a room billowing with clouds of icing sugar.”
The supplier had also “sourced juicy, flavour-packed olives from Greece, along with pillowy-soft traditional Greek breads and fragrant, fresh dips and sauces,” he added.
“This range celebrates togetherness and encourages families to come together over delicious Greek food and good times.”
Trophi’s expansion comes just a week after Surya added 15 ambient lines to Khao Chi, its Indo-Chinese brand that first hit grocery last September as five frozen SKUs.
