Aldi has tied up its three-part festive ad campaign with the wedding of Kevin and Katie, aka the Carrots.
The final instalment – airing from 6am on 27 November – picks up where the stag do chaos left off. Best man Kelvin the Carrot gets Kevin home just in time for the ceremony, only for the veg-istrar to go missing, leaving the couple’s long-awaited vows at risk.

The ad features Kevin singing a version of The Troggs’ Love Is All Around, made famous by Bill Nighy’s rendition ‘Christmas Is All Around’ from Love Actually – continuing the references to classic Christmas films made in the previous two parts.
Aldi describes it as the fairy-tale payoff shoppers have followed for years. “We’ve absolutely loved watching everyone follow Kevin and Katie’s incredible journey, from their first spark to this momentous walk down the aisle,” said Aldi UK CCO Julie Ashfield.

”The anticipation for their big day has been immense, and we’re thrilled to invite everyone to witness this festive finale. We hope viewers will be on the edge of their seats, cheering them on as they finally reach their happily ever after.”
The playful storytelling is the latest example of how Aldi is using characters to avoid traditional HFSS-heavy Christmas food ads, as they face restrictions. However the discounter sneaks in a few shots featuring non-HFSS products from its premium Specially Selected range including Kalamata Olives and Sage, Roasted Onion & Shallot Stuffing.
