New Covent Garden Food Company is bringing out a soup to celebrate its association with the Royal Horticultural Society.

Kitchen Garden is the latest flavour from the soup producer, comprising an assortment of in-season vegetables, such as pea, spring onion, spinach and radish. Like all its soups the new soup is free from additives, flavourings or colourings.

This year's marketing investment will be the company's biggest annual spend to date at more than £3.5m. Marketing for 2007 will include a press campaign focusing on the 'food as it should be' brand positioning.

Kitchen Garden will feature as Soup of the Month for April, priced at £1.99. An on-pack promotion offers reduced price membership of the Royal Horticultural Society. The producer is sponsoring the Growing and Showing Marquee at Hampton Court Palace Flower Show on 7 and 8 July.
