Hibernia Foods is highlighting seasonal flavours and bringing back old favourites in its Sara Lee Christmas desserts and gateaux range. New to the ranks are St Nicholas Pie with mincemeat, apple, cranberries and sultanas, and St Nicholas Danish Crumble with mincemeat filling and brandy crumble (both rsp: £2.99). A Christmas favourite gets a new twist in Sherry Trifle Gateau ­ sponge layered with custard, peaches, raspberry purée, sherry and cream. Other newcomers include the Ultimate Chocolate Gateau and Profiterole Heaven ­ cream-filled profiteroles over crème patisserie and chocolate mousse with chocolate sauce (£4.99, 10 servings).
