Mars Confectionery is launching an on-pack promotion for Starburst to get consumers more involved with the taste and flavour of the sweet. Packs carrying the Name That Chew' promotion will have a mystery flavour sweet inside wrapped in a white wrapper displaying a question mark. Consumers have to call a phone line and choose which flavour best describes the mystery chew. (There is a list of options which includes wacky flavours such as carrot or hamburger). Consumers get the chance to win prizes such as minidisc recorders and Virgin music vouchers. The promotion runs until the end of August and coincides with the £4.5m TV ad campaign that is supporting the Starburst brand. {{MARKETING - P&P }}
