Health-conscious but busy mums can now offer their toddlers low-salt organic soup, produced by Hipp Organic.
The soups are available in Creamy Tomato and Cream of Carrot flavours, priced at 99p. They contain less than half the salt content of standard adult soups, which “is an added reassurance for mums,” according to Samantha Mort, Hipp’s communications manager. Hipp Organic carried out research in 2003 with Tesco Baby Club, which revealed that 95% of mums use ready-prepared toddler meals at least once a week.
“Mums always look for new and innovative recipes with which to feed their toddlers, and we think that Hipp’s toddler soups with the right balance of nutrients, make an ideal option for lunch or tea time,” said Morton.
