Uncle Ben's has doubled the number of variants in its Rispinos rice snacks range by adding a trio of savoury flavours. Barbecue, Cheese and Onion and Pizza ­ all of which have less than 2% fat ­ joined the three sweet versions last week. The range targets women aged 18 to 40. Distribution was expanded across all trade channels last month. Sam McElligott, trade relations manager at brand owner Mars, said last year's launch of Rispinos had tripled the rice snack market.
