Dhamecha Cash & Carry has launched a new fascia package, in partnership with the Today’s Group.
The Day 1 fascia scheme, which includes store refits, imagery and window graphics, was unveiled to members of Dhamecha’s 300-strong privileged customer club at a series of meetings this month.
The new fascia combines the Day 1 name, replicating the d from Dhamecha’s logo, together with the traditional Nisa-Today’s background.
To join the scheme, PCC members will have to pay a £50-a-year licence fee and ensure they source at least 65% of their purchases from Dhamecha.
Following the presentations, more than 40 retailers have already signed up for the scheme and the first fascia will be erected next week.
Dhamecha Cash & Carry is the largest member of the Today’s Group with five depots positioned around London at Wembley, Barking, Enfield Croydon and Watford, all of which will offer the Day 1 package.
Dhamecha chief executive Pradip Dhamecha commented: “The entire Day 1 image is reinforced by a comprehensive promotional package to be rolled out throughout the year, strengthened by the Today’s Group, and puts Dhamecha at the forefront in sealing the link between the wholesaler, retailer and end-user.”
Rodney Hunt, Today’s Group managing director said: “We are pleased to be working with Dhamecha to help strengthen the independent retailer in these increasingly competitive times.
“The reaction of their retailers has been superb, underlining the relationship that has developed over the years between them and Dhamecha.”
