Kyndal aims to boost sales of its Superstition brand with a press campaign starting this month.

The roots of the Isle of Jura malt will be the focus of the ads, which include the strapline ‘Bristles with strange tales, stranger ways and a wonderful single malt whisky’.

The slogan ties in with the tale of a clan member who, in keeping with an ancient prophecy, left the Scottish island with only one eye.

Kyndal marketing director Glen Gribbon said: “This campaign for Superstition, a brand barely a year old, borrows from the folklore and mystical qualities of its island home.”
