Italian food importer Donatantonio has launched a foodservice business.
Good Deli Company is targeted at the the fast-casual dining and contract catering sectors, and supplies 200 ingredients across categories including oils, vinegars, olives, antipasti, pasta, rice, grains, flours, tomatoes, pastes, sauces and grissini.
The range, which includes products such as balsamic ketchup, is sourced from speciality suppliers in countries across Europe and Asia as well as Mexico, Peru and Morocco.
“Donatantonio has a 100-year established market in the UK for importing fine Italian and Mediterranean ingredients,” said sales director Lara Bicknell. “We recognised a more expansive trend and demand from operators for global ingredients that can provide a premium and distinct offering at a cost effective price. We launched Good Deli Company to meet that global challenge.”
