Montgomery Natural Spring Water launched its first vitamin water this week amid plans to double the size of the £12m operation in five years.

An orange-flavoured water enriched with eight vitamins will complement its own-label bottled water and Celtic Spring and Aquaroma brands. It will be stocked in CK’s Supermarkets and Tuffins-branded Midcounties Co-op stores.

The Powys-based business sold its Tuffins stores to Midcounties last year, and is investing £4.5m of the proceeds in equipment that will double its filling capacity and enable it to switch to more environmentally friendly pre-formed bottles from January, said MD Paul Delves.
