Adrian Hancock, the former co-owner of Hancocks Cash & Carry, died on 20 April following an eight-month battle with cancer. He was 50 and left a wife and four children.

Hancock ran the wholesaler with his brother Andrew until a management buyout in November last year.

“We shall all miss Adrian’s strong character and relentless love of life,” said Hancocks CEO Mark Watson. “The team at Hancocks are all sorry to hear such sad news.”
