Super-premium Glamour Cherries will return to UK retailers next week.
The fruit, grown in high-tech glasshouses in Spain, are the only cherries available in March and April, which is why they command a famously high price tag.
Grower SAT Edoa said listings had been confirmed with Marks & Spencer, which would sell them from the end of next week at £5 for 200g. Listings with Harrods, Tesco and Sainsbury’s would follow, it added.
