Stand up comic Michael McIntyre has launched a new partnership between The Co-operative Group and the Variety Club of Great Britain. The Co-op Group will link up with the showbiz charity to promote the latter's Gold Heart badges in stores from early next year, as well as helping out with a new event called Sunshine Day.

"This partnership with the Co-op is just one way of giving back to the UK community," said McIntyre.
