JJ foodservice new truck

JJ Foodservice has launched an own-brand web page to make it easier for customers to shop affordably.

The new webpage includes more than 500 own-brand food, drink, packaging and cleaning products from the wholesaler, including Super Crisp Chips, Letsdough bakery bread and Vivat water.

The business said it was working closely with manufacturers to source ingredients directly, helping to control costs during the current inflationary environment.

It comes as sales of JJ own-brand products increased by 20% in the financial year ending March 2022, now constituting 36% of overall sales.

“We want to make it easier for our customers to find affordable, high-quality options against a backdrop of continuous price rises,” said chief product officer, Sezer Ozkul.

“Our customers are recognising the savings they can make by shopping own brand. We are proud to be able to work with the many of the world’s leading brands together with our own brands to be able to offer our customers a great choice.”

The new web page will be supported with a promotional offer, focussing on different own-brand products every week until February 2023.
