Fermented lemonade, buffalo milk cheese and giant corn snacks will be among the hundreds of new products exhibited at The UK Food & Drink Shows 2026 next month.

Taking place at NEC Birmingham from Monday 13 April to Wednesday 15 April, the event boasts 1,200 exhibitors and offers visitors invaluable insight on the topics and trends that are driving the industry.

The UK Food & Drink Shows comprises four shows under one roof: Food & Drink Expo, Farm Shop & Deli Show, National Convenience Show and Forecourt Show.

New attractions for 2026 will include a Spotlight on Coffee Shop & Café highlighting the latest trends and products shaping the sector, and a Spotlight on Future Foods that will showcase wellness-driven, clean-label and sustainable products. This year’s event also brings the debut of the Taste the Future contest, which gives visitors the chance to sample and score 40 trailblazing products, with participating brands in the running to win £5,000 worth of prizes.

Fermented lemonade brand Ferment Fizz says it is focused on a ‘cleaner, more flavour-led approach to soft drinks’ and believes a soft drink can offer taste without relying on flavourings, concentrates or other common shortcuts. At the show the brand will be presenting three fermented drinks: Lemon, Lemon & Raspberry, and Orange & Mango. The Lemon drink is described as bright and peel-led, Lemon & Raspberry combines aromatic berry with a sharper citrus structure, and Orange & Mango offers a fuller, rounder style with a softer finish.

Romi Matcha is a UK-based matcha brand that says it is focused on supplying ceremonial-grade matcha sourced from Yame, Fukuoka, one of Japan’s most celebrated tea-growing regions. The range includes single-origin cultivars as well as blends designed for traditional preparation and modern drinks such as matcha lattes. The business will be showcasing its full ceremonial range including Ceremonial Blend #01, Organic Blend, single-cultivar Okumidori and Saemidori, and Kabusecha loose-leaf tea.

Private-label supplier ANR-Probrand has developed two new cookie brands – Few’r and Nomsi – that are making their debut at The UK Food & Drink Shows. Few’r products are made with nine kitchen-staple ingredients “showing you don’t need a chemistry degree to understand what’s being put into the functional products”. Nomsi is described as the bakery snacking brand that isn’t taking itself too seriously, and each cookie has around half a gram of sugar while being high in protein and fibre.

Cambrook Foods, specialist at baking, seasoning and caramelising nuts, will be showcasing its new 85g packets of crunchy, flavoured Peruvian giant corn. These are rolling out in in three flavours: Truffle & Pecorino, roasted corn seasoned with a subtle black truffle and sprinkled with pecorino cheese and sea salt; Hickory Smoke Seasoned, roasted giant corn tumbled in a natural seasoning derived from the smoking of hickory wood; and Sriracha Chilli & Lime, roasted corn spiced up by tumbling in a natural sriracha chilli with a hint of lime.

Scottish business The Buffalo Farm will be exhibiting its Buffalloumi – a halloumi-style cheese made with 100% buffalo milk to deliver a creamier flavour. This is part of a range of cheeses produced using buffalo milk from the farm’s own herd of grass-fed, free-roaming water buffalo at a purpose-built dairy in Fife, Scotland. Originally trading in buffalo meat, the businesses expanded into dairy after sixth-generation farmer Steve Mitchell appeared on The F Word with Gordon Ramsay and they made buffalo mozzarella for the show.

Egg-free, vegan and gluten-free desserts specialist The Eggless Baker will be launching a range of gluten-free cakes and brownies at the Farm Shop & Deli Show. Among the cake flavours are Chocolate Fudge, Cookies & Cream, Lemon & Raspberry, Mango & Pistachio, and Vanilla Berry. The business is also rolling out stuffed cookies, which have a filling that melts when warmed, in flavours including Roasted Marshmallow and Dark Chocolate & Hazelnut.

 

Bolognese and Chilli Non-Carne

Cock & Bull, which started life as plant-based pie brand Jampas, will be launching two meat-free canned meals at the Farm Shop & Deli Show. The business is working with 141-year-old Scottish canning company Grants Foods to bring the Bolognese and Chilli Non-Carne to market. “We are 100% natural as a brand, with no artificial ingredients, so we needed a process that makes food safe, is understood and already works for the consumer, and we settled on canning,” explains Cock & Bull co-founder Simon Hurley.

 

Aagrah Butter Chicken

Aagrah started as a restaurant nearly 50 years ago and continues to operate five around Yorkshire today. The brand entered retail seven years ago with a range of cooking pastes and now has cooking pastes, poppadoms, naans and chutneys listed nationwide in Tesco, Morrisons, Ocado, farm shops and garden centres. The supplier will be showing a new addition to its tarka range, a Butter Chicken that originates from Delhi and has a tomato base with a blend of spices and a hint a fenugreek. Aagrah describes the dish as having a gentle heat without the spice of a Hydrabadi or Lahsen.

The UK Food & Drink Shows 2026

The UK Food & Drink Shows 2026, taking place at the NEC Birmingham from Monday 13 to Wednesday 15 April, comprises four shows that each target a sector of the food and drink industry:

  • Food & Drink Expo is the destination for discovering fresh ideas, forging connections and gaining insights into the future of food. It attracts key foodservice buyers as well as decision makers from retail and wholesale grocery operations.
  • Farm Shop & Deli Show offers the best-quality local and regional produce alongside the latest in equipment, labelling and packaging solutions.
  • National Convenience Show is the biggest event for the convenience retailing sector and is a one-stop destination for c-store specific products, services and innovations.
  • Forecourt Show is the must-attend event for sourcing products, fresh ideas and smart solutions to future-proof your business.

Around 1,200 businesses will be exhibiting across the four shows, and more than 25,000 visitors are expected to attend the event to explore new products, services and equipment that will help their businesses flourish.

Once again, The UK Food & Drink Shows will offer a packed programme of insightful panels and expert speakers alongside new attractions. These will include a Spotlight on Coffee Shop & Café highlighting the latest trends and products shaping the sector, and a Spotlight on Future Foods that will showcase wellness-driven, clean-label and sustainable products.
