Graham Benson, the former co-owner and MD of Bellevue Cash & Carry, is back in business.
Having sold Bellevue to Bestway Cash & Carry last June, Benson has launched Wholesale Matters, a consultancy that aims to help food and drink suppliers understand their customers' businesses better.
"We aim to provide step-changing insight into how companies can improve the way they do business with the wholesale, convenience and specialist channels," Benson said.
He has joined forces with Richard Yates, who has fmcg sales experience with Mars and Scottish & Newcastle and set up his own interim sales company Flair Factor in 2006.
Yates said: "We see our strength as providing a unique and objective end-to-end perspective, letting companies look at what they're doing and how they do it. They will be in a position to test new ideas and ways of thinking."
