Months of rigorous consumer research made it resoundingly clear to toilet tissue brand Cheeky Panda that its use of bamboo was its core differentiator with shoppers and that the material needed to be the hero when it came to its pack redesign.

It explored myriad creative options in a bid to strike the right balance between visual appeal and functionality, testing out different concepts with its consumer base before settling on a modern upgrade that our judges felt represented “a bright and refreshing approach to the category”. The new look “neatly emphasises the bamboo [and] feels premium with its thick paper covering, clear typography and superb use of images”.
